The Office of The Project Coordinator, First Hydro Generation Pvt. Ltd., 186-B Hari Nagar, Ashram, New Delhi-110014 invites sealed tenders in three parts;

Part-A: Earnest money of value as indicated below,

Part-B: Technical particulars of the tenderer (Technical Bids), and

Part-C: Price bids and tender specifications from experienced contractors for the following works up to 1400 hours on date 17.02.2007. The Part-B shall be opened by the undersigned or his authorized representative in the presence of tenderers or their authorized representatives in the office of the undersigned on the same date at 1500 hours. Tenderer have the option to be present at the time of opening of Part-B. The Part-A & C shall be opened on a later date & time after evaluation of the Technical Bids, intimation about which shall be given in advance to the tenderers who have qualified in the Technical Bids. Each envelope must be marked thereon, name of the work, tender no. and name & address of tenderer. Earnest money shall be submitted with the tenders as indicated in tender details, which should be in the shape of FDR/DD of any nationalized Bank drawn in favour of First Hydro Generation Pvt.Ltd, payable at New Delhi. Offers without Earnest Money shall not be considered and in such case, Part-C shall not be opened. Validity of offers should be 180 days from the opening of tender. The certificate to this effect shall be submitted by the tenderer on Rs. 100/- worth stamp paper on which revenue stamp for Rs.1/- shall be affixed. In case the tenderer withdraws his offer within validity period, his earnest money shall be forfeited. The tender documents can be collected from this office after 10 days from the date of publication of this notice and up to 1700 hours on 16.02.2007 on paying the requisite tender cost in cash or by Demand Draft of any Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of ‘First Hydro Generation Pvt. Ltd’ payable at New Delhi. The tender documents can also be requested by Post/Courier on payment of an extra amount of Rs 100.00 only.

(i) Name of work: - Supply, erection and commissioning of E & M Equipment of Hul- II Small Hydro Project - 3.4 MW (1.7 x 2 MW) near village Chiminu in Distt. Chamba of Himachal Pradesh. (ii) Time of completion: 10 Months (iii) Cost of tender documents: Rs. 10,000.00 (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) (iv) Earnest Money: Rs. 1% of the total cost as quoted by the tenderer (v) Approximate value of work is Rs. 3.5 Cr per MW inclusive of all taxes. (II) Last date of submission of tenders: - 17.02.2007 up to 1400 Hrs. CONDITIONS:- 1. Contractors /firms should be having registration in Trade Tax and Income Tax departments. Proof of the same shall be attached with the tender document. 2. In case of firms, proof of partnership deed shall be attached with the application asking for tender document. 3. Chairman cum Managing Director of the company reserves the right to reject/accept/divide the work amongst one or more contractors without assigning any reason thereof. 4. The firm/contractor should have work experience of similar works. The proof of Performance shall be attached with the application for tender document. 5. Penalty @ 1 % per month maximum up to 5 % may be imposed if contractor does not complete the work within stipulated period of the contract. 6. Tenderers are advised to make themselves familiarized with works site and work volume before bidding.
