1. NIXI invites offer up to 1500 hours on 5th March 2008 from OEM / Single Authorized Vendors of reputed brand for supply, installation, commissioning and support on a turnkey basis of .IN Registry backup site equipment to be installed at Datacentre of VSNL, Chennai. Technical bids will be opened on 5th March 2008 at 1530 hours in the presence of the bidder’s representatives.

2. Non–transferable tender document containing conditions of detailed requirement specifications as also the terms and conditions can be obtained from the above address. The tender document will be available for sale between 11 am to 5 pm on all working days from 21st February 2008 to 5th March 2008 on payment of Rs. 5000/- by crossed Demand Draft/Banker’s Pay Order in favour of National Internet Exchange of India payable at New Delhi. Please note that the Company will not accept any liability for non-receipt/non-delivery of Tender Document(s) in time.

3. Eligibility Criteria:-

a. The bidder must either be an OEM Vendor (manufacturer) of the Data Centre Equipment OR must be an authorized agent of the manufacturers for this bid.

b. The bidder should have annual sales turnover of 100 crore rupees and above in the previous financial year and should have made atleast 3 sales of above 3 crore rupees for hardware during the last financial year.

c. The bidder should have positive net worth (measured as paid-up capital plus free reserves) in the previous financial year.

d. Bidder must possess quality certification from an internationally recognized and reputed agency e.g. ISO 9000.

4. No Consortium shall be allowed for bid submission.
If any of the above dates is declared holiday, the next working date will be considered.
Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
