Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) a government-owned German Development Agency through the Indo-German Social Security Programme (IGSSP) advises and provides technical support to responsible ministries in the Government of India and state governments to design and implement social security programmes in line with the Unorganised Workers’ Social Security Act (UWSSA).

The programme works on social security schemes for unorganised sector workers in the areas of health insurance, old-age protection, life and disability insurance, and convergence of various social security schemes on a single platform. It also promotes dialogue and knowledge-sharing amongst stakeholders and partners through conferences, workshops and seminars.

To effectively reach out to a wider audience, the programme seeks to establish a distinctive online presence through its own website, supported by social media profiles. The information on the website would be a combination of static content providing background information on the programme and dynamic content, including reports on events, updated data on programmes, publications and multimedia updates on different elements of the programme.

In this context GIZ invites tenders for design, development and one year’s maintenance of the website and integration with social media platforms.
