Social Venture Incubators through Capacity Building and Mentoring |
Deutsche GesellschaftfürInternationaleZusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH has entered into a partnership with
Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) under the framework of the BMZ-funded bilateral
Programme for Strengthening Responsible Enterprise Financing, running from 2013 – 2016. The SIDBI-GIZ
Programme aims to improve the financial services (debt and equity) for sustainability-oriented investments
of MSME in India.
One of the aims of the Programme is to strengthen the access to risk capital for those start-ups and innovative
businesses that contribute to solving some of India’s social and environmental challenges and provide affordable
solutions to the underserved population. However, currently there is a lack of an earlystage support ecosystem for
social entrepreneurs. In light of this , GIZ invites bid from reputed and experienced Indian consultancy
firms/contractors for Social Venture Incubators through Capacity Building and Mentoring. The bid is open to all
eligible firms as defined in the Request for Proposal (RFP) document. Last date of bid submission is 17:30 hrs, 12th
March 2014.
GIZ reserves the rights to cancel/modify this tender and/or reject a bid document including subsequently a
technical and financial proposal, without assigning any reasons.
