BRGD Sponge & Iron is planning 16 MW Captive Power Plant (CPP) at Village Janardandih, dist. Purulia, West Bengal. The plant is coming up as part of integrated steel plant, will produce 16 MW (8 MW WHRB based & 8 MW AFBC based) power. Land area for the total project is 14.16 hectares. Estimated cost of the project is Rs. 1,500 million inclusive of steel project. The project has been applied for environmental clearance. The project completion period is 40 months from start date.
