Copper-ware silver is Viengsavanh unique copper handicrafts. It is copper carved in a variety of patterns, then the molten silver (or gold) of water into patterns, after cooling grinding smooth processing, a long time base copper natural into black, with silver (or gold) pattern, showing a black (or dark yellow) clear the decorative effect, quaint, elegant chic. Because of the general with inlaid silver, it is referred to as the "black copper-ware silver". Nevertheless; the producers in this community process the products with lack of accessing to the localization fund raising; lack of incentive investment from outsiders; using the chemicals without management system and affecting to the environmental surrounding their village. The project will provide the necessary technical, financial, market information and promotional support to the less favored segments of communities to allow them to set up sustainable handicraft related businesses and generally benefit from the inflow of tourists and help handcraft suppliers and incoming tour operators in the selection of marketing and distribution channels in order to ensure a fair distribution of benefits among local providers; help community to protect environment and eco-system in surrounding their village. Project will also be focusing to equip local community to become entrepreneurship model in term of safety Copper-ware silver handicraft production and environmental friendly.
