Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation is planning a development of exhibition-cum-convention centre at Dwarka, dist. South West Delhi, Delhi. The project will have exhibition centre, foyer, convention centre, arena (Theme destination), budget hotel, 4 & 5 star hotels, service apartments, retail & office spaces. Total land area for the project is 89.72 hectares. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 245,050 million. The project will be completed in a span of 8 years. Construction of exhibition centre will start along with construction of 1,300 rooms of 5 star hotels, 800 rooms of 4 star hotels, 1,000 rooms of 3 star hotel and 500 service apartments. Simultaneously, there will be development of 215,000 sq.mtrs of office spaces and 170,000 sq.mtrs of retail spaces. Approx. 200,000 sq.mtrs of exhibition space and 60,000 sq.mtrs of convention centre will also be constructed as a part of the project. Proposed project will be constructed in 2 phases: Phase I with construction of total built up area of 425,000 sq.mtrs which will be followed by construction of Phase which covers built up area of 595,000 sq.mtrs. AECOM India is the project environmental consultant. RFQ cum RFPs have been invited for project contractor. The scope of work will broadly include detailed design, construction, testing & commissioning of India international convention & expo centre at Sector 25, Dwarka, New Delhi on EPC basis including defects liability period of 2 years.
