Government Of Rajasthan, Public Works Department, has put on hold upgradation of the Nagaur to Bikaner section in Rajasthan. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 7,552.2 million. The project was to involve upgradation and strengthening of existing 2 lane road to 2 lane with paved shoulder from Nagaur to Bikaner section of NH 89 km 161/0 to 267/325 including 3 new Bybass Nagaur, Sri Balaji and Nokha. The project is planned for completion in 1 year after commence of work. According to Forest Clearance sources, the department has applied for forest clearance for diversion of 8.18 hectares of forest land required for the project. [Info as of: May `17]
