Hanz Biochem is planning a 100 TPM bulk drug and its intermediates manufacturing unit at IDA Peddapuram, dist. East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 450 million. Equipment supplier and contractor have been appointed. The project is waiting for environmental clearance. Work on the project is expected to commence by end of 2017. According to MoEF sources, the total land area required for project is 20,528 sq. mtrs. The company proposed to install 2.0 TPH and 3.0 TPH coal fired Boilers and total fuel requirement will be around 17 TPD of coal and it will be procured from local sources. Proposed plant activities will be started after getting statutory clearance and will be completed within 2 years. [Info as of: Jul. `17]
