Indian Oil Corporation is planning an expansion of its LPG bottling plant at Village Inam Kulathur, dist. Thiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu on 24.28 hectares of its existing land. The capacity will be augmented from 1,000 MT to 1,900 MT by installing 3x300 MT mounded storage. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 221.4 million. Ultra-Tech Environmental Consultancy & Laboratory is the environmental consultant. The project is waiting for environmental clearance. According to MoEF sources, the proposed project will be completed in approximately 24 months from the date of approval environmental & other statutory clearances. [Info as of: Jul. `17]
