Jharkhand State Rural Livelihood Promotion Society is planning 4 Nos. tamarind de-seeding, tamarind brick and seed powder manufacturing plants, one each in dist. Khunti, dist. Simdega, dist. West Singhbhum and dist. Gumla, Jharkhand. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 120 million. Operating model for the project is JV/PPP. Jharkhand State Rural Livelihood Promotion Society has been appointed as the nodal agency for implementation of the project. Investors are yet to be invited. The project is in planning stage.
