Justification The major reason for implementation of the present demonstration campaign is the necessity for studying and systematization of good practices in the areas of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) Small Grants Programme (SGP) in Bulgaria. The information campaign will fill up a niche in the public domain, which will meet the public needs and the increased desire to lead environmentally friendly lifestyle with the laws of nature, using environmentally friendly eko practices good. Of this survey in the process of preparation of this project have identified several problems that can be summarized as follows: There is no current, systematic and accessible information on best environmental practices in the areas of SGP in Bulgaria has proven their effectiveness in practice; Popularizing and publicity will contribute to stimulating the using of good practices and multiplying the individual experience gained in protecting the environment and in sustainable development. Location National information campaign Project Target Groups Target groups that will directly take advantage of the project GEF SGP and all projects financed by the Programme, companies, organizations and institutions, using good environmental practices, NGOs, journalists Target groups that will indirectly take advantage of the project the public, non-governmental organizations, institutions Goal and expected impacts The overall goal of the project is to stimulate the applying of good practices in the SGP areas in Bulgaria. Impacts 1. studying at least 62 good practices in the SGP areas in Bulgaria; 2. classification of 15 the best practices like successful story ; 3. 100 000 people are well informed of excellence in the fields of eko practices SGP of GEF in Bulgaria; 4. 10 NGOs / companies / organizations will be involved in the project; 5. 10 municipal governments will receive promotional and informational materials on the project; 6. providing conditions for direct multiplying of the experience gained via different communication channels Objectives and expected results To study the good practices in the SGP areas in Bulgaria. Involved 20 stakeholders to share experience Involved 10 stakeholders and to promote and exchange of experience Ready 10 models for multiplication Ready 3 models for Popularizing To study the good practices used in the projects financed by the GEF SGP in Bulgaria Involved 62 stakeholders to popularizing and sharing of experience Ready 12 models for popularizing Increased number of stakeholders who want to obtain more information on good eco practices - 62 To inform the public about the good practices used in the GEF SGP areas in Bulgaria via different communication channels. High level of interest from good eco practices in the areas of SGP, demonstrated through participation in special events on the draft project -least 150 participants in the Workshop for good eco practices Increased number of stakeholders obtaining access to information on good eco practices - distributed at least 3500 promotional materials project Increased number of stakeholders obtaining access to information on good eco practices - minimum of 1000 visitors to the site during the project Providing conditions for direct multiplying of the experience gained via different communication channels - least 100 000 research of publications in newspapers and specialized sites Major activities Act. 0: Forming the project team, schedule of activities and allocation of responsibilities; Act. 1: Situation analysis of the good practices of organizations, institutions and companies in Bulgaria in the SGP areas (the 5 areas biodiversity, climate, waters, land and POPs); Act. 2: Studying the projects financed by the GEF SGP in Bulgaria to identify the good practices used; Act. 3: Selecting the 15 best practices/ successful stories that have the potential to be promoted under the project - description, photos and translation of English Act. 4: Production of advertising and information materials to popularize the good practices in the GEF SGP areas; Act. 5: Development of Good practices link on the site of the GEF SGP in Bulgaria, uploading information about the good practices; Act. 6: Providing - Workshop about the good practices in the GEF SGP areas in Bulgaria; Act. 7: Providing publicity and transparency of the project; Partnership with GEF SGP proposals/projects The objectives of the information campaign "Promotion of good practices in the areas of SGP of GEF in Bulgaria is practically impossible without the full cooperation and coordination with the office of the SGP of GEF, NUS and the representatives of projects funded under the program. Sustainability All activities envisioned in the project aim at achieving a long-lasting effect on the target groups and a quality result with regard to their knowledge, skills, competency and willingness to multiply the experience demonstrated and the good practices in the GEF SGP areas. The knowledge and skills acquired will bring added value through the quality of the new project ideas developed and filed for approval to the GEF SGP. The individual experience of the organizations, institutions and companies on the GEF SGP projects can be directly applied without investing additional funds in preliminary studying of the benefits from the good practices and eco-innovations. 15.10.
