Kanpur Plastipack is implementing an expansion of its greenfield project at Gajner Road, dist. Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh. The present manufacturing capacity is 14,600 TPA of fabric and Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC) and 3,350 TPA of multi filament yarn. The proposed addition capacity is 8,400 TPA of fabric and FIBCs. In addition, a plant for manufacturing of liner shall also be established having a capacity of 1,200 TPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 871.4 million, out of which Rs. 550 million will be financed by the banks (under consortium financial arrangements) and Rs. 321.4 million from internal accruals / fresh share capital. The Board of Directors of the company, at its meeting held on 29th May, 2017 has approved setting up an expansion of greenfield project at Gajner Road. Civil work is in progress.
