King Laboratories is planning a surgical cotton manufacturing unit at IGC Lassipora, dist. Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir. Pollution Control Board clearance has been received. The project is in planning stage. Work on the project is expected to commence in January 2017. According to J&K State Pollution Control Board sources, the estimated cost of the project is Rs. 19.893 million. The unit will manufacture surgical cotton, surgical bandages, yarn, fabric output, bandages, hospital face masks, hospital face caps, hospital aprons, napkins/ diapers, hospital bedding etc. The unit has been granted the Consent to Establish.
