Lakshmanan Cements is planning a 300 TPD standalone cement grinding unit at Village Pachanapalli, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh on 1.41 hectares of acquired land. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 70 million. Team Labs & Consultants is the environmental consultant. The project is waiting for environmental clearance & has also been applied for Pollution Control Board approval. Work on the project will commence after the receipt of the clearances. According to MoEF sources, the unit will produce OPC/ PPC. The power requirement of 800 HP will be procured from APTRANSCO. A 1x125 KVA DG set is also proposed. The plant construction is envisaged to be completed in a period of 6 months after obtaining the statutory clearances. [Info as of: Oct. `16]
