Lincon Polymers is implementing a 650 TPM plastic-based packaging products manufacturing unit at Village Borisana, dist. Mehsana, Gujarat. This is the company`s second manufacturing unit in Gujarat, while the first unit located in Gandhinagar. Land has been acquired. The unit will manufacture HDPE/PP/BOPP woven fabric bags in the range of 5 kg to 100 kg. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 600 million, funded through internal accruals & loan. Civil contractor & equipment supplier has been appointed. Both indigenous & imported machinery will be used. Partially ordered & remaining under pipeline. The products will have 50:50 sale ratio for both local & export. Civil work is in progress. The project is scheduled for completion in January 2018. [Info as of: Sept. `17]
