Madhya Bharat Phosphate, part of the Agro Max Group, proposes a 40 TPD acid slurry (LABSA (Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulfonic Acid) 90%) manufacturing unit at AKVN Industrial Area Meghnagar, dist. Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh (Unit-III). The current status of the project could not be ascertained. According to MoEF sources, the project is proposed within the existing SSP unit. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 27 million. Land area is 3,592 sq. mtrs. Power requirement is 25 KW, which will be sourced from MPEB. 100 KVA DG set is proposed.
