North Central Railway is planning re-development of Kanpur Central Railway Station in dist. Kanpur Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. Tenders have been floated for the project. The development of Railway station will primarily consist of upgrading the level of passenger amenities by new construction/ renovation/ alteration to existing station building, platform surfaces, circulating area, etc., to serve better the needs of the passengers.
