Northern Railway is planning construction of the Una-Hamirpur railway line in Himachal Pradesh. The Union Ministry of Railways has approved construction of the 50-km railway line. The railway has made a token provision of Rs. 10 million for the Una-Hamirpur line in 2017-18 Budget, which is to cost Rs. 28,500 million. Detailed survey of the line is yet to be done.
