Project Location:West Azarbayjan - Mahabad(Lat/Long:36.8152950-45.7360840) SEASONAL REHABILITATION OF HASSANLOU (SHOURGOL) WETLANDS THROUGH PARTICIPATORY WORK INCLUDING THE LOCALS for: As phase 1 including the effect of this work on the possible side effects on the historic areas and establishment of the baseline and the present situation Restoration activities in collaboration with Department of Environment (DOE) and the local stakeholders for ecological functioning of the wetland Local agreement s for maintenance of the traditional waterways Negotiating with local authorities including DOE and Water Authorities for long term maintenance Completion of dikes and outlets Documentation of the case work
