Project Description
Project aims to use the degraded lands to grow seedlings of wild-fruit trees and shrubs for further soil erosion control on slopes of Zhetyssu Alatau. Seedling nursery will be developed with use of water-saving technology of drip irrigation. It s planned to use some of the seedlings to plant on eroded slopes of Zhetyssu Alatau involving local community. Educational trainings on erosion control will be held.
