Rajmax Paper Ind LLP is planning a kraft paper plant & a 5 MW co-gen power plant at Taluka Halvad, dist. Surendranagar, Gujarat. The plant will produce kraft paper from hard wood. Eco Chem Sales & Services is the environmental consultant. The project is waiting for environmental clearance. According to MoEF sources, the capacity of kraft paper will be 150 TPD. The land area is 34,349 sq.mtrs. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 492 million. Power requirement 1,500 KWh will be sourced from Gujarat Electricity Board (GEB) & CPP. 250 TPD of imported coal will be used as fuel. ETP will be installed. The project will take approximately 12 months after all the statutory clearances from GPCB for site clearance and power plant clearance are received. [Info as of: Feb. `16]
