Rangodadhi Chemicals is planning a bulk drug and drugs intermediates manufacturing unit at Ankleshwar, dist. Bharuch, Gujarat on 5,000 sq. mtrs. The project involves change of product portfolio from dyes & inorganic salt to bulk drugs & drugs intermediates. The company will stop manufacturing reactive orange, reactive black, reactive yellow, reactive red, sodium acetate, ammonium sulphate, liquor ammonia of existing products and continue manufacturing 300 TPM sodium sulphate, 300 TPM calcium chloride and 300 TPM magnesium sulphate. The company is going to start manufacture 7 TPM pioglitazone HCl, 3 TPM venlaflaxine. The estimated cost of the project is RS. 114.9 million, of this Rs. 40.5 million will be used for building, Rs. 50 million will be used for plant & machinery, Rs. 10 million will be used for electrification and administrative set-up, Rs. 8.4 million will be used for ETP, APCD , Rs. 1.5 million for safety instruments and chartered services/ government fees.
