Rationale Excessive use of agro chemicals is one reason which has led to degradation of land in this area. Domestic waste is commonly dumped in public places polluting the environment and poses a threat of harmful diseases being spread. Firewood is used as the main energy source which as a result destroys the forest resource. Raising awareness on its cost effectiveness, environmental benefits etc. An overhead water tank to be constructed to meet the drinking water needs of the community 500 families to be provided with stoves that use waste material such as timber dust, coconut fiber etc. as fuel.
