Rayana Paper Board Industries has put on hold an expansion of its paper manufacturing project and rice husk-based CPP at Village Digha, dist. Sant Kabir Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The capacity of the writing and printing paper plant was to be augmented from 50 TPD to 100 TPD, the wrapping paper plant from 50 TPD to 100 TPD and the rice husk-based CPP from 3 MW to 6 MW. Equipment suppliers are yet to be appointed. Environmental clearance has been accorded. The project has been put on hold due to market conditions.
