SMS Pharmaceuticals proposes a 2x2 MW coal-based power project at Mandal Pusapatirega, dist. Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh. Team Labs And Consultants is the environmental consultant. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 6,000 million inclusive of expansion of bulk drugs & intermediates manufacturing unit on existing 95.56 acres land. The project will come up along with expansion of bulk drugs & intermediates manufacturing capacity from 179.05 TPM to 740.76 TPM. The existing coal fired boilers is 1x6 TPH & 1x3 TPH. The proposed capacity is 1x20 TPH, 1x12 TPH & 2x10 TPH. The project is waiting for environmental clearance. The project is envisages to be completed within 12 months as it involves installation of higher capacity processing equipment`s besides improving of yield and the production shall be initiated thereon. Consultants are identified for preparing the detailed project report.
