Shree Khedut Sahkari Ginning & Pressing Society is planning an expansion of its chemical fertilizer manufacturing unit at Village Baben, dist. Surat, Gujarat on 16,795 sq. mtrs. The unit will produce 3,000 TPM of N:P:K 20:10:10. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 17.852 million. Contractor is yet to be appointed. The project has been applied for environmental clearance. The project is in planning stage. According to MoEF sources, proposed power requirement of 135 KW will be sourced from Dakshin Gujarat Vidyut Company. 1,679.5 sq. mtrs area will be developed as green belt. [Info as of: Oct. `16]
