TKK Zippers And Threads (India) is planning a ready-made garments manufacturing unit in dist. Bengaluru Rural, Karnataka on 1.15 acres of land. The unit will manufacture ready-made garments and garments accessories like coil zippers, metal zippers, vision (plastic zippers), knitted elastic, oven elastic, cotton & polyester tapes, buttons, buckles. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 185 million inclusive of land. Machinery supplier is yet to be appointed. Some machinery is already available in their existing unit at YPR Industrial Area, Bengaluru & remaining 80% of machinery is expected to be procured from abroad. Out of the total land 3,100 sq. mtrs will be used for factory building, 350 sq. mtrs for office building, 200 sq. mtrs for DG set, 1,450 sq. mtrs for Green space, 250 sq. mtrs for ETP, 1000 sq. mtrs for godown & 200 sq. mtrs for open godown. The company is in the process of procuring land from Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB). Work on the project is expected to be commence in 2018 & planned to completed within 1 year.
