Takasago International India inaugurated an R&D and manufacturing facility at One Hub Chennai Industrial Park, dist. Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu on 4th March, 2017. The facility with a manufacturing capacity in excess of 10,000 TPA, will manufacture flavours for the biscuits for the confectionery & biscuits industry and fragrances for the perfume and cosmetics industries. According to media sources, the cost of the project is USD 10 million. The facility will also serve Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and other neighbouring countries. [Info as of: Mar. `17]
