The ATN has the mission of promoting and developing n all activities contributing to the improvement of the social and natural environment and to the rescue of our heritage through synergies and partnerships between different actors both institutional and civil society. The overall project objective is to promote citizen participation in the n n solution of environmental problems and creativity as a means of expression ny n valoraci environment, fostering a culture and environmental policy on students from schools in the coastal zone Nicoya with the local population, with the participation of state n instances, NGOs and the private sector. Objectives Spec GRAPHICS 1.Fomentar change in consumption patterns, habits and values h communities through processes that generate sensibilizaci training ny responsible attitudes to environmental protection and to the environmental impact caused by improper handling s waste solids. 2.Promote the development of an educational process on the part of teachers and students about the importance of comprehensive waste management s solids from the site of generation n thereof by reduction actions n, n recovery, reuse and recycling . 3.Integrar the education sector in sustainable development policies pol as entity participating in the execution of specific programs that favor the promotion autogesti ny n of an environmental culture. 4.Estimular the citizen participation in the identification n n solutions and decision making about environmental issues affecting the quality of individual, family and community life. 5.Reconocer capacity Rican students and civilians in initiatives aimed at the search of the b a healthy environment for present and future generations. 6.Valorar and leverage successful national experiences by sharing ne reproduction thereof by Zone strat alliances to achieve best results from the study of projects.
