The Ramco Cements is planning an expansion of the Kolaghat cement grinding unit at Village Rakshachak Anchal Amalhanda, dist. East Midnapore, West Bengal from 0.95 MTPA to 2.00 MTPA. Environmental clearance has been received. Civil work is yet to start. According to MoEF sources, total land area is 20.42 hectares. The estimated cost of the expansion project is Rs. 2,500 million. The project will be completed in 12 months on approval of statutory clearances. [Info as of: Jun. `17]
