Project Description
The main goal of the project is to recover the peat development process in two peat-bogs, Trstinn l ky and Kriv k t. It will be implemented through activities focused on the research of peat-bogs. Based on the research results, adequate plans of peat-bogs recovery will be prepared. Additional activities will focus on raising the awareness about the importance of peat-bogs in mitigating the impacts of the ongoing climatic changes. These activities will include mainly building a relaxing and educational area in the peat-bog Kriv k t and starting an interactive educational program about peat-bogs for local schools.
