The main objective of the project is to demonstrate the model for mercury-vapor lamps utilization in small towns of Ukraine by establishing a mechanism for the collection of used mercury-vapor lamps in budgetary institutions and organizations. Description of activities: - Establish an enterprise on neutralization and recycling of mercury-vapor lamps; - Develop a system to monitor the use of energy-efficient lamps; - Construct special places for mercury-vapor lamps collection in institutions and organizations of the cities; - Conduct a seminar for the management staff of the institutions and organizations on importance of mercury-vapor lamps neutralization system; - Carry out trainings to disseminate information on importance of mercury-vapor lamps collection and utilization.
