The womens Association of Punta Morales is created in 1993 with c dula and people have to jur dica, which remains active developing several activities including the cleaning of the area through the collection of garbage, integraci n j venes community in the responsible use of the environment n concientizaci. Its Board of Directors does not receive fees for the position they occupy. From 2000 to date the Association has worked actively in various activities whose training has been given by the Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje (INA) with the coordination of the National University and our partnership. The lack of use of the area, forces us to seek viable solutions of n of employment generation in the short term that will allow us to maintain and educate our families without having to migrate to other places in search of employment. We have worked during this time on crafts, planting, extraction n and sale of piangua, cultivation demonstration oysters as an alternative employment for us and our community. However the implementation of these and other activities of this kind is complex and requires perseverance for results v lidos. This application is intended; continue with the cultivation of oysters to the piangua resource scarcity and lack of employment in the area the Association has had the initiative to find viable employment alternatives to short and medium term that they develop in their communities. We have worked on the sustainable use of piangua for two years under the Advisor to the National University, here we have been trained in the use of the environments where the piangua, in the perform n of planting and harvesting regulated not only by planting time but by the likes of extraction n, to ensure the reproduction n constant resource. Also a year ago we have worked in demonstrative growing oysters, we have seen the possibility of employment in this activity, however; internal and external situation of the project some and others that have been found out of our reach and resolve, have failed us to achieve in such a short time the implementation of this activity on our own. During the year 2003 we have been engaged in activities related to the cultivation of oysters, as construction n flashlights inici us with a course given by the INA in the ECMAR and own. This project focuses within the operational area coastal marine ecosystems, whose priority are the surrounding communities or directly related with the national system of protected areas both public and private p. The present project of producci n whole, live oysters in their shell, consists of obtaining the product through its development (growth and fattening) in flashlights and baskets, suspended from floating rafts in semi open waters in the estuary of Morales, in the Gulf of Nicoya. The system is initially designed so that it can be run and administered by the Organization of women of Morales, for what is required the support of a laboratory dedicated to the n of seed production, or failing that sustain them based on the import seed from Brazil or Chile n. Its beginnings can be supported with n of seed on the station output n of Biolog to Marina of the National University, place where was developed n research reach the reproduction n and output n seed acclimatized to our conditions.
