UM Lohia Two Wheelers has put on hold a 100,000 units/yr two-wheelers manufacturing unit near dist. Hyderabad, Telangana due to non-receipt of approval from the company`s Board. Work on the project is expected to commence in Q4 2017. According to media sources, the project will take another 1.5 years to complete. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 6,400 million inclusive of an engine manufacturing plant in Pune. [Info as of: May `17]
