Uflex is planning an expansion of its flexible packaging materials manufacturing unit in Uttar Pradesh. The expansion project would entail the need of following machinery and capital equipment in a phased manner; (i) Conventional gravure & C.I. flexo Printing machines, (ii) Hi-Tec gravure & C.I. flexo printing machines with LED curing system, (iii) extrusion coating lamination machines, (iv) solvent based & solvent less lamination machines, (v) high speed inspection and rewinding machines, (vi) slitters & doctoring machines & (Vii) utilities like boilers, heating systems, chillers, generator etc. Land required for the project is 75 acres. Estimated cost of the project is Rs. 5,000 million. The project is in initial stage. [Info as of: Feb. `18]
