Background and objective of assignment:

The MGNREGA-EB Project is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in partnership with the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India and is being implemented by GIZ India for the duration 2013-2019 in selected areas of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. The project objective is to demonstrate the positive effect of MGNREGA works on generating environmental benefits.

The objective of the assignment is to assess the impact of project NRM interventions and processes, through provided PMIT framework, which might have improved the natural resource base in the project areas. The status of achievement of indicators for 4 major outputs of the project as per the monitoring matrix developed by the project needs to be measured in context to major outcome of the project.
