• Project Concept and Brief:
  The Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of Karnataka (GoK) proposes to develop a Nano Science and Nano Technology Park (Nano Park) spread over an area of about 25 acres of land at Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR), Near International Airport, Bangalore North, Bangalore, Karnataka under Public Private Partnership Mode.
• The Nano Park will include the following components:
  1. Nano Incubation Centre (NIC) – About 50,000 sq. ft. area for housing a variety of analytical instruments and technological tools with clean and semi-clean rooms.
• 2. Science and Technology Based Business Incubator – incubate early stage entrepreneurial ventures based on nano science & nano technology innovation
• 3. Facilities and Services - physical infrastructure and support systems necessary for business incubation centre
• 4. Nanotechnology Industrial Cluster – developing core infrastructure with world class architectural design for facilitating establishment of industries for commercial ventures.
• The Government of Karnataka invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from national and international developers/firms/consortiums with adequate experience in infrastructure development and sound technical and financial background to design, engineer, construct, develop, operate, maintain, manage, market and other related aspects of the nanotechnology cluster in the Nano Park (NP-Karnataka), under public private partnership (PPP) framework.
• Deadline for Submission :
  

  The response to this EOI shall be received, not later than 31st January, 2012 up to 5.00 pm in sealed covers clearly subscribing “EOI for Nano-Park : Karnataka”.

  A pre-bid meeting with prospective developers/firms/consortiums is scheduled on January 16, 2012 (Monday) at 11.30 am in the Conference Hall, IT, BT and S&T Secretariat, 6th Floor, 5th Stage, M.S. Building, Dr. Ambedkar Veedhi, Bangalore - 560001 to explain more details and also seek inputs for the project. Interested parties may attend the meeting on the said date and time.
