Tender Notice Tender for Partnership Initiative Tamil Nadu Module “A” – Dialogue Promotion

Initiated by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in 2014, the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles (PST) is a multi-stakeholder initiative that comprises textile and clothing companies including associations and retailers, standard organisations, trade unions and non-governmental organisations. The PST aims at pooling the strength and expertise of its members in order to bring about social, ecological and economic improvements all along the textile supply chain. On behalf of BMZ, the Partnership’s Secretariat is hosted by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

The consultancy firm shall provide targeted support to MSI-TN’s activities in Module A – Dialogue Promotion aiming at building a network among the different key stakeholder groups of the Tamil Nadu textile and garment industry that is based on a willingness to cooperate and interact in the common interest. This includes the aim of establishing a continuous / formalised dialogue structure / process both on state and district level (target districts: Coimbatore, Dindigul, Erode, Tirupur). In addition, the consultants will also develop equivalent skills and capacities at SAVE
