L one of the challenges for a sustainable development d is the protection of biological diversity and its rational management. Nowadays several esp these animals and plants are endangered. Sea turtles are particularly particularly threatened es b nin for various reasons including poverty and marine pollution. The will of most third-party c Africans such as the nin B countries contribute the safeguarding of the esp these migratory as s sea turtles is e manifest by their accession various international conventions such as the CMS, the CBD, the cities and the signing of the M DSU (d) agreement on the conservation measures for marine turtles of the C te Atlantic from Africa. But r alit resources are in a spiral of threats. Thus, in accordance with the recommendations of various international treaties for the protection of wildlife, projects were undertaken around the world and also to B nin to give a chance backup of these esp these. The initiators of the projects of conservation of these esp these are s many problems confront my amongst which include: hunting for turtles on the c, p accidental che by p fishers local and international poaching of turtle eggs, the disruption of nests, destruction of Habitat and pollution marine. The overall goal of this project is to contribute to the sustainable conservation of the last res turtle marine, esp populations these important migratory l internationally that fr use the c te Atlantic B nin during the spawning season. It s involve d actions that will help raise awareness of the local communities and authorities s political and administrative on the sound management of marine turtles; strengthening the technical capabilities of the cogardes and communities local m me as administrative officers for rational management of the resources of coastal and marine turtles. It s will be also to monitor, protect and save the turtles and their eggs on spawning sites and areas power the itin migration routes, d ensure the establishment d aires prot g marine and ti res c, d support alternative activities g n our b n drivers profits for the benefit of the cogardes, d am improve exchange information with other countries and strengthen cooperation r regional and sub - r regional at the level of local and State actors structures (Unit R regional implementation of M DSU (d) agreement on the conservation of marine turtles of the Atlantic (URTOMA), and network Gold Coast Sea Turtle Conservation Network (GoSTCON) project will enable the strengthening of the capabilities and the development of human resources d; strengthening) institutional; (d) development d activities alternative g n spin-offs of revenues within the communities local; innovative measures and the partnership between local Public Administration, s communities and Non-governmental Organisations.
