Medha Servo Drives is planning rail & metro coaches manufacturing unit at Village Kondakal, dist. Rangareddy, Telangana on 100 acres land area. The company has signed an Memorandum Of Understanding (MoU) with Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation on the proposed project for allotment of 100 acres of land at Kondakal. The company has also agreed to work with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge to train the required manpower for the upcoming factory. The project is to be set up at an investment of Rs. 8,000 million in a phased manner. The company was at advanced stage of developing rail coaches that can travel at a speed of 160 km for the integral coach factory. The project work is expect to commence in Q1 2018 & is planning completion in 2020. [Info as of: Oct. `17]
