Meghmani Organics is planning an expansion of its agrochemical intermediates manufacturing unit at GIDC, Dahej, dist. Bharuch, Gujarat. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 1,200 million. Contractor & equipment supplier are yet to be appointed after the receipt of environmental clearance. Both indigenous & imported machinery will be used; order is yet to be placed. Environmental clearance has been applied. The project is in paper stage. According to MoEF sources, Anand Environmental Consultants, Ahmedabad is the environmental consultant. The project will entail capacity addition of existing products and addition of few new products within existing premises. Total plot area of exiting plant premises is 60,987 sq. mtrs. Construct will start once EC/ NOC will be granted and the completion period of the project would be approximately 9-18 months thereafter. [Info as of: Jul. `17]
