Mahindra First Choice Services is planning to open 20 Franchisee Owned Franchisee Operated (FOFO) workshops in West Bengal by March 2017. The company inaugurated its first FOFO workshop in Kolkata, in partnership with Abhi Fuel Center, on 20th June, 2016. The company plans to inaugurate 3 workshops in West Bengal - in Jalpaiguri, Kankinara and Berhampore, over the next month. The company plans to close the fiscal with 400+ workshops annually. The company`s pan-India network currently stands at more than 130 workshops. The company aims to expand its network to over 500 workshops by 2018 and is investing more than Rs. 2,500 million, over five years, to create the infrastructure, to achieve this goal. The company is also planning to increase its all-India cluster warehouse network from the present 22 to 43, in order to ensure a steady supply of spare parts to its workshops. [Info as of: Jul. `16]
