Withholding water from N Dali-centre is part d a set d infrastructure install es in the ann 1990s by Government b ninois to meet the needs of cattle in the Borgou Department d. It is e installed on a tributary of the Okpara River, which flows into the river or m downstream. This infrastructure e situ 5 Km to the North of N Dali and 2 Km road inter tat Malanville-Parakou-Niamey or 35 km from Mansor r k o lies if ge Su Dom Se/MS-NGOs, is strongly submitted the dimming cover d v g tal. It is also submitted a strong pressure of essentially agricultural populations. Thus, a particular focus will be on the adoption of practices contr l es (for l watering, l l aquaculture and l lifting agriculture and activities of transformation.), l am the watershed management and the capacity of the n recipients b s autog rer. To satisfy all expectations, the s project will tend over an area of 32 Km and will cover 5 bordering villages and three (03) districts of N Dali-centre. In total eight (08) groupings of mara dear, p fishers and wholesalers including 5 f condoms will be b n direct beneficiaries of the project. The average size of each grouping is 30 people from families diff Annuities totalling 240 families. Apart from persons directly concern, l impact of the project on the preservation of l agroecosystem pr will benefit me thousands of families downstream. About 300 people of various categories and branches of activities (farmers, fishermen, wholesalers, intermediaries and consumers interm p) b n benefit directly from the actions of the project. The indirect recipients n b can reach 3500 people.
