Sanchi University Of Buddhist-Indic Studies (SUBIS) is planning development of a new campus at Village Dhakna-Chapna, dist. Raisen, Madhya Pradesh. Online Expression of Interest (EoI) for prequalification process in two envelopes "A" and "B" have been invited for appointment of consultant for preparing Detailed Project Report of the project (Third Call). The integrated campus is coming up on 40 hectares. The `State of Art` campus is to be developed on objective theme and vision with adoption of old heritage and classic landscape of international standard using present day concepts of energy efficiency and green architecture. The proposed campus shall consist of School of Buddhist Philosophy, School of Sanatana Dharma and Indic Studies, School of Natural & Social Indic Sciences, School of International Buddhist Studies, School of Comparative Religions, School of Strategic Studies, School of Language & Literature & Arts, school of Arts, Crafts & Practices, School of Western Philosophy, School of Classical Civilization Studies, School of Futurology & Futuristic Studies. Other facilities include instructional area, central library, computer/ IT centre, student activity centre, open air theatre/ amphitheatre, guest houses, dispensary, sports facilities, convention centre, residential facilities, mini theatre, herbal processing units etc. The existing landscapes & silhouettes shall be respected & magnified. The entire campus shall aesthetically incorporate various features of architecture & sculpture of various Buddhist & Indic societies & civilizations from across the world with international approach.
