C R I Pumps has commissioned a high-end specialized wires and cables manufacturing unit at Village Karuvalur, dist. Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu in August 2016. This ISO:9001 certified facility sprawls across 200,000 sq. ft of built-up space and adopts stringent manufacturing and testing process conforming to IS 694 and BIS standards. In the 1st phase, the company has earmarked an investment of Rs. 1,250 million for this project. This state of the art plant with integrated cable compound manufacturing facility will have production capacity to process over 10,000 tonnes of copper and produce products worth over Rs. 5,000 million per annum. In the 2nd phase, the company has planned to invest further to double the capacity in about 2-3 years` time. [Info as of: Aug. `16]
