Pallavan Transport Consultancy Services is planning to implement Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) in dist. Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Request for Proposal (RFP) under single stage bidding process with two cover system were invited for preparation of Detailed Project Report for implementation of BRTS in dist. Chennai. The proposal for DPR shall specify the requirements (Minimum Indicative) on road geometries, furniture, efficient BRT network services and facilities, integration with non-motorized transport (NMT) infrastructure, integration with other public transport modes, BRT infrastructure including station, the bus shelters, bus bays, bus terminals, feeder routes, lane intersections, intersection redesign, pedestrian cross, sky walks, passenger amenities, lightings, BRT bus body building design requirements, suitable ITS applications if required, Operation and Maintenance systems, Project Management unit, institutional structure, cost estimation on all components, suitable implementation strategy, timelines etc. Successful bidder should submit the DPR within 182 days from the date of declaration.
