EL Amboro Protected Area, considered one of the most biodiverse areas of the country, within the category management comprises two called: Integrated Management Natural Area and Amboro National Park, both have 637000 extender. It is part of nine counties that comprise all the Protected Area Amboro, among which are the Torno, San Carlos and Yapacani municipalities in which the project was executed for the Implementation of ecotourism cabanas. The ecotourism cabanas are located in the communities of El Jardin de las Delicias Municipality of El Torno, Girls, East San Carlos Municipality and the Municipality of El Rodeo Yapacani, the latter formed by the citizens of San Antonio, San Salvador and San Rafael. Therefore there are five more communities in which tourism activity has started as an alternative management of natural resources in the area, of the 92 that exist in the Integrated Management Natural Area Amboro. Families living in these communities can only perform some economic to be in the protected area and require viable income generation to allow them a decent life alternative activities.
