This project is the centerpiece application n adaptation n shares with the community that prepare them to change clim tico . In this sense the financial support of the CBA , help people in the communities of Moro Moro and High Veladero ( Vallegrande Province , Department of Santa Cruz) , to understand , prevent, and improve their capacity to n adaptation to the impacts of change tico climate and reduce their vulnerability , filling a vac or geopolitical tico valleys crossing you about our initiatives for the protection of environmental services n . Strong soil DEGRADATION n and p loss of original vegetation cover , ny disminuci is causing pollution of water sources n , this implies a greater vulnerability to climate change tico, n considering a reduction of the rainy season ( a prolonged drought ) ; therefore considered important to conservation actions in the area n . Financing complement the new CBA draft Natura to trav s of the Union for Conservation International n of Nature ( IUCN) and the UNDP projects is already in Place Ndose n aleda Towns in years. The IUCN project , contribute to global environmental benefits ( GEB ) to trav s n MANAGEMENT sustainable soil conservation and recovery ny n Woodland ; provide an innovative mechanism for n recaudaci funds for the protection of h n dricos services locally ; pol and influence local policies to reduce DEGRADATION n n soil and contamination of water sources, among other benefits. Given the conditions of the municipality in terms of its geography to and reduced vegetation cover , interventions for this project n necessarily be different from those that have been previously made . Adem s , the focus of the project is to determine the additional effect it has on livelihoods in selected communities. As it is considered that the local institutional strengthening, concientizaci n the value of natural resources (soil and water) and learning sustainable management thereof, are essential for subsistence and generate positive impacts in terms of capacity adaptation ny reduce their vulnerability to climate change effects tico . Furthermore, the ability of negotiation ny n possible agreements to be made between members of the community organized , with the support of the authorities to formalize the rules as they are established and ensure sustainability of the project.
