The Project: Community Model peasant MANAGERIAL n of water resources and climate risk nicosia in the municipality of Alto Seco Vallegrande, Santa Cruz department of Bolivia Pa s, aims to contribute to the reduction n the vulnerability of rural communities to the effects of climate change to turn s tico improve the availability of water for irrigation and human consumption for rural families of communities in areas vulnerable to climate change tico. To implement this project Natural Heritage Reserves (Repana) consisting of n protection of water sources with closures to human and domestic animal activity. Tambi n n irrigation systems that allow multifamily collect water from streams of low flow for supplementary irrigation during long periods without RUSHING n periods of rain, which allow the production n save n agr tail implement. Also, the capacity of local people on sustainable use of water resources and land is developed as a strategy for adapting to climate change tico and contribute to the resilience of water supplies to withstand climate change driven pressures tico. The project aims to be a model and allow to generate knowledge about climate change and develop strategies tico adaptability with the participation of the actors n: Residents and community authorities, organizations MANAGERIAL n water for communal consumption, municipal authorities and development agencies, facilitating learning, to generate policies to guide pool MANAGEMENT city n tico climate change and adaptability.
